DIE WOHNKOMPANIE : Optimistic outlook for 2025

With its current projects, Roland Pichler, Managing Partner of DIE WOHNKOMPANIE, believes the company is ideally positioned for the current year 2025 – and he is already making plans for the years beyond.

‘We have already seen increased interest in the residential projects we offer in the last quarter of 2024, a trend that has continued in the first few days of the new year,’ says Roland Pichler optimistically. The few new developments are ensuring that those in need of housing are willing and, above all, able to raise the necessary funds for newly built freehold homes.

Roland Pichler: ‘Many of the framework conditions are significantly better than in the previous year. The KIM regulation is coming to an end, interest rates are lower and the wage increases are having a positive impact on many wallets. As a result, we are moving back in the direction of a normal market.’ DIE WOHNKOMPANIE has always focussed on the sustainability and attractiveness of its projects and operated with the necessary caution. Today, the harvest can be reaped accordingly. ‘Together with our strong parent company, the Zech Group, we are looking to a healthy and stable future.’

Pipeline sufficiently filled

In the knowledge of the future shortage on the Viennese housing market – many properties could not be realised or even new ones planned during the crisis – the company is also convinced that it can be successful with the residential projects in preparation. Several hundred flats are being planned and there are also plenty of opportunities for property investments. Roland Pichler: ‘We have made a good name for ourselves as a reliable partner. Developing sustainable projects for letting and placing them successfully is certainly one of our great strengths.’

The company’s portfolio currently includes the Kalksburga, Dorf Stadt Oase and Subin 23 projects, the Löwenzahn & Espenlaub residential complex and the recently completed PUR Wohnen residential project in Purkersdorf, where a few flats are still available.
