When you visit our website, certain usage data is temporarily stored on our web server for statistical purposes as logs to improve the quality of our website. This data includes:

  • The name and address of the requested content

  • The date and time of the request

  • The amount of data transferred

  • The access status (content transferred, content not found)

Data Security

To protect your data from unauthorized access, we implement technical and organizational measures. We use encryption methods on our website. Your information is transmitted from your computer to our server and vice versa over the internet using TLS encryption. You can usually recognize this when the padlock symbol appears in the status bar of your browser, and the address bar begins with https://.

Required Cookies

We use cookies on our website that are necessary for the operation of the website.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and can be read. We differentiate between session cookies, which are deleted once you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which are stored beyond a single session.

We do not use these required cookies for analysis, tracking, or advertising purposes.

Some cookies contain only information regarding specific settings and are not personally identifiable. These cookies may also be necessary to enable the user interface, security, and functionality of the website.

We use these cookies based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are placed. You can also delete cookies at any time via your browser settings and prevent new cookies from being set. Please note that our website may not be displayed fully, and some functions may no longer be available.

Consent Banner

We use a consent management platform (cookie banner) on our website. The processing in connection with the use of the consent management platform, as well as logging the settings you make, is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, in our legitimate interest to deliver content in accordance with your preferences and be able to document your consent(s). Your settings, consents, and parts of your usage data are stored in a cookie. This allows your preferences to persist for subsequent page requests, and your consents can be tracked. For more information, refer to the section on “Required Cookies.”

The provider of the consent management platform acts for us as a service provider under strict instructions (data processor). A data processing agreement has been concluded in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO.

Embedded YouTube Videos

We embed YouTube videos on some pages of our website. When you visit these pages, content is loaded from YouTube. In this context, YouTube receives your IP address, which is technically required to retrieve the content. We have no influence on further processing by YouTube. However, we have made sure to enable YouTube’s extended privacy mode when embedding the videos.

Google Maps

We use Google Maps to display maps and create directions. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

If you use the Google Maps map, for example, by clicking on the locations listed there, we do not collect any data from you. However, by using Google Maps, information about your usage (particularly the IP address of your computer) may be transmitted to a server of Google LLC in the USA and stored there. The processing of personal data using technically necessary cookies and your IP address is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO, in the interest of optimizing our online offering for you. We have no influence on the further processing of data by Google LLC.

Please read Google Maps’ terms of use if you wish to use the service. The terms of use for Google Maps can be found at: http://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.
For detailed information about Google’s privacy policies, visit: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

If you do not agree with Google LLC’s data processing, please refrain from using the map or disable the JavaScript feature in your browser to view a limited version.

Contact

On our website, you can send us an email via the “Contact” page. The data you provide (your email address and, if applicable, your name) will only be stored for the purpose of processing and documenting your inquiry. This data will only be shared if necessary for processing your inquiry. For advertising purposes, this data will not be shared with third parties.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request according to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your contact is aimed at entering into a contract, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO provides an additional legal basis for processing.

Matomo

To tailor our website to your needs, we use the web analytics tool “Matomo.” Matomo creates usage profiles based on pseudonyms. For this purpose, permanent cookies are stored on your device and read by us. This allows us to recognize and count returning visitors.

Data processing is carried out based on your consent, provided you have given your consent via our banner.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Please follow this link and adjust your settings via our banner.

Storage Duration

Unless we have already informed you individually about the storage duration, we delete personal data when it is no longer necessary for the aforementioned processing purposes and no legitimate interests or other (legal) retention reasons prevent deletion.

Further Processors

We pass your data to service providers within the framework of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO, who assist us in operating our websites and related processes. These include, for example, hosting service providers. Our service providers are strictly bound by our instructions and are contractually obligated accordingly.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

The General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) grants you various rights as a data subject in connection with the processing of your personal data. These include, in particular:

Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR)

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing personal data about you. If this is the case, you can request information about this data as well as other details mentioned in Art. 15 DSGVO.

You have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, where applicable, to have incomplete personal data completed.

Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 DSGVO)

In certain cases, as specified in Article 20 DSGVO, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to request the transmission of those data to a third party.

Right to Object (Art. 7 DSGVO)

If the processing of data is based on your consent, you are entitled under Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Please note that the withdrawal only takes effect for the future. Processing carried out before the withdrawal is not affected.

In accordance with Art. 77 DSGVO, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection regulations.
